Billie Jones, 88, Darlington, passed away at 8:40 pm Wednesday in St. Clare Medical Center.
Mr.
Jones worked at R.R. Donnelley for over 30 years, retiring in 1983.
After that, he worked for Carmen Nursing Home and the Holiday Inn.
Mr.
Jones was born August 8, 1918 in Montgomery County to Charles and Mable
Jones. He married Frances L. Price on March 9, 1950. She preceded him
in death August 26, 1997.
Survivors include a son Bill (Linda)
Jones, Effingham, Illinois, and a daughter, Sandy (Dick) Nomanson,
Crawfordsville, as well as 5 grandchildren and 7 great-grandchildren.
He was preceded in death by his parents and several brothers and sisters.
Graveside
services will be Saturday at 3:30 in Greenlawn Cemetery, Darlington,
with Pastor Tony Thomas officiating. Friends may call from 1-3 at
Burkhart Funeral Home, Crawfordsville.
